We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Collect payments and process billing information as required
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to patients and colleagues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (preferred)
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist
- Bilingual Spanish (desired)
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable)
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
