Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Assembly Team at Autocar, LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our assembly line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a team-based environment to achieve production goals
  • Perform tasks in self-directed work groups/teams to maintain a productive assembly line
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
  • Perform backflushes correctly and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ensure quality control standards are met and provide feedback to supervisors and QC
  • Participate in root cause problem solving and train new employees to meet expectations
  • Perform installations outside of standard conditions and oversee or perform work at multiple stations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Over one year of experience in a vehicle manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to read a Bill of Materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Work Conditions

Standard manufacturing plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses and steel toe shoes will be required and reimbursed in manufacturing or industrial areas.
