Role Overview

The Medical Screener is a vital role at CSL Plasma, responsible for greeting donors and conducting registration procedures to verify suitability for plasma donation.

This position requires excellent customer service skills, as the successful candidate will interact with donors daily, providing a welcoming and informative experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet donors and conduct initial registration procedures
  • Assist donors in completing screening processes, including health history assessment and basic medical questions
  • Refer donors to medical staff when necessary and perform health screening procedures
  • May educate new donors on therapeutic products made from donated plasma, explaining the screening process and other relevant information
  • Maintain accurate records of donor data in the electronic donor information management system
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum three months' experience in a clerical or customer service role, preferably in a medical setting
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
Estimated Salary Range:

$40,000 - $60,000 per year
