Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing menu items in accordance with our established policies and performance standards. You will also assist in managing food costs and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Food Preparation: Prepare menu items following company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and portion control.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all equipment and storage areas.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Strive to exceed guest expectations through quality food preparation and service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires extensive standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. You will be exposed to various kitchen conditions, including heat and cleaning chemicals.

SUPERVISION
You will receive guidance and training from the Kitchen Manager or designated supervisor regarding specific tasks and responsibilities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic knowledge of food safety and customer service principles is beneficial, and training will be provided to enhance your skills.
