Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various civil engineering projects, including site design, grading plans, roadway design, and utility design for water, sewer, and stormwater systems.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct stormwater calculations and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Compile permitting packages for local, state, and federal regulatory compliance.
- Perform site inspections and oversee construction activities.
- Participate in construction meetings and liaise with municipal and private sector clients under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Prepare Traffic Engineering analyses and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, including bid documents and project reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- E.I. Certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience; internship experience is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Knowledge of ICPR 3 / 4 and ARC GIS products is a plus.
- Interest in fishing and golfing is an added benefit.
