Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative role is essential in delivering outstanding service within a collaborative environment focused on patient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls and assist with patient appointment scheduling.
  • Facilitate patient check-in processes and verify insurance details.
  • Handle authorizations, pre-certifications, referrals, and charge postings.
  • Support initial collections and ensure accurate billing and maintenance of medical records.
  • Depending on departmental needs, assist with business services related to workers' compensation and corporate accounts.
  • Be available for late hours, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the department manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Experience:
  • Less than 1 year of experience in clerical or administrative roles is required.
  • Experience in insurance or customer service is preferred.

Additional Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of prior experience is preferred for Lee Health Solutions.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required within 90 days of hire at certain locations.
