Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the preparation, review, and filing of U.S. international tax returns, identifying transactions with tax implications and applying knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts.
- Research complex tax issues, interpret and apply tax law, regulations, and cases to specific transactions and factual situations.
- Develop and maintain complex tax models using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare and review the annual and quarterly tax provision processes, including review and analysis of OUS tax provisions, analysis of tax accounts and reserves using Longview tax provision software.
- Assist with responding to IRS audit information requests.
- Apply advanced tax knowledge to support business needs, providing expert advice to management and contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Provide leadership to staff, developing and mentoring staff through coaching, goal setting, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of international tax experience, preferably in public accounting or Fortune 500 corporate tax.
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting/Finance required; CPA and/or MST preferred but not required.
