Electronic Technician Role at Air Clean Systems

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team at Air Clean Systems. This role will involve modifying, repairing, and improving existing electronic products, equipment, and controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics principles and design, as well as experience working with various tools and machinery. They will be responsible for ensuring that products are assembled correctly and safely for delivery to customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly operations at a workstation or bench using basic hand tools.
  • Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Identify and read values of common electronic components, and read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics.
  • Operate specialty machines and tools such as drills, crimpers, cable cutters, and various hand tools.
  • Crimp, screw, bolt, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Mount assembled components on chassis panels.
  • Connect component lead wires to printed circuit boards or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Assemble wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies, sensors, control panels, electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
  • Build sub-assemblies requiring multiple people or build a new instrument from start to finish.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to verify compliance to production specifications and standards.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two Year Trade / Technical School Degree or military certification or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, short term disability, life insurance, and a 401K plan with employer contribution.

Location: This position will be based at our Creedmoor, NC office, where you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals.
