Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train bartenders, beer tenders, and cashiers to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operations.
  • Communicate event details and timelines to zone staff, including intermission and last call notifications.
  • Oversee the setup, operation, and breakdown of concession windows and vending tents in assigned zones.
  • Collaborate with the F&B Warehouse Supervisor and Bar Backs to ensure timely product replenishment during events.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for POS devices, including cashier voids, reprints, and transfers.
  • Verify opening and closing counts, transfers, and ending stand sheet counts, and input data into each stand location.
  • Receive, count, and inventory concessions for retail, including beer, wine, soft drinks, water, liquor mixers, and packaged snack items.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor, including representing Walton Arts Center at events and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in restaurants or large venues, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Arkansas Beverage Certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
  • Flexibility with hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends, with occasional overtime required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, including on various surfaces and in outdoor environments.
  • Ability to work in crowded environments with loud music, flashing lights, and other event-related stimuli.
