AG RX is seeking experienced CDL A Local Tractor Drivers for our operations.
Compensation: $25-$27 Per Hour - Comprehensive Benefits - Home Daily - Morning Shift
Requirements: Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (Hazmat Preferred)
Role Responsibilities:
- Report to the Row Crop Supervisor and execute the application of liquid and dry fertilizers, as well as chemicals to row crops using a tractor or truck.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing appropriate protective gear such as goggles, respirators, gloves, boots, helmets, and coveralls.
- Maintain and care for all safety equipment, ensuring proper usage.
- Transport equipment and supplies safely, including loading and unloading tractors onto trailers for job site deployment.
- Handle and store hazardous materials safely, adhering to all regulations.
- Apply fertilizers and chemicals efficiently and safely to crops.
- Load and unload necessary equipment and materials for assigned tasks.
- Deliver liquid and dry fertilizers as required.
- Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of assigned equipment, reporting any issues to the shop supervisor.
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and accurately complete inspection logs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL A License with Tanker Endorsement (Hazmat Endorsement preferred).
- 1-3 months of relevant experience or training.
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
- Certified Forklift Operator.
- Capability to lift between 25-50 lbs.
