Pipe Fitter

Job Summary:
As a Pipe Fitter with J.R. Filanc Construction Company, Inc., you will be responsible for the removal and installation of old and new pipe configurations in the Peoria area. Our company builds water and wastewater treatment plants, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefit package, including two weeks paid vacation. You will work closely with engineers and on-site superintendents to ensure safe and timely installation. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Daily Activities:
• Rigging and pipe fitting
• Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes
• Repairing malfunctions and testing pipe systems for safety and functionality
• Grading and excavation
• Concrete and compaction work

Qualities:
• Safe working practices
• Organized and methodical approach
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Productive and efficient work habits
• Ability to work on multiple pipe systems, including Ductile Iron, PVC, HDPE, Copper, and more

Experience:
• General construction experience
• Pipefitting and layout skills
• Water and wastewater experience preferred but not necessary

Working Conditions:
