Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at J.R. Filanc Construction Company, Inc. in the Peoria area. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the removal and installation of old and new pipe configurations, working closely with engineers and on-site superintendents to ensure safe and timely installation.

Daily Activities
  • Rigging and pipe fitting
  • Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes
  • Repairing malfunctions and testing pipe systems
  • Grading and excavation
  • Concrete and compaction work
Qualities and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with general construction experience, pipefitting skills, and the ability to work on multiple pipe systems, including Ductile Iron, PVC, HDPE, and Copper. Water and wastewater experience is preferred but not necessary.

Working Conditions
