  • Execute general ledger entries, ensuring appropriate documentation is secured, and prepare intricate supporting calculations utilizing independent judgment and specialized knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Manage complex transactions related to payroll, fixed assets, and lease agreements.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of detailed balance sheet accounts, necessitating independent judgment and collaboration with senior management and external parties.
  • Deliver comprehensive analyses and clarifications of financial transactions, leveraging in-depth accounting expertise; this may involve coordination with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Compile periodic schedules to support audits or other external inquiries, applying specialized accounting knowledge and adherence to company policies.
  • Perform ad hoc research for atypical transactions as directed by senior leadership, utilizing accounting expertise to substantiate conclusions or recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Expertise in accounting processes related to payroll, fixed assets, and leasing.
  • Minimal oversight required post-task completion.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage time effectively.
  • Act as a key resource for clarifying complex financial transactions.
  • Efficiently prioritize workflow, with few exceptions related to accounting period closings or payroll entries.
  • Proficient in creating ad hoc reports and resolution formats.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel are essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory.
  • Must be available to work in the Blue Ash, OH office three days a week.
