Job Title: Financial Analyst 1/Financial Analyst 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in the Department of Internal Medicine, Academic Research Services. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on financial data in the clinical trial unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and interpret financial data to develop cost analysis and reports.
  • Prepare financial, data, and statistical analysis reports for clinical trials.
  • Track financial performance and identify variances from budgets.
  • Perform budget analysis and assist in the development of budgetary forecasts.
  • Communicate financial status and issues to project managers, clinical teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and assist in budget-related statistical analysis, estimates, and financial reports.
  • Assist in the development and input of financial transactions into university systems.
  • Reconcile invoices and payments with trial budgets and agreements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and approval for all financial transactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Related finance or accounting experience.
