Peraton Labs is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team of experts in delivering innovative solutions and revolutionary new capabilities to government agencies, utilities, and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement comprehensive test plans for component and system level performance evaluations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
  • Analyze test outcomes to determine performance and identify improvements in testing and system capabilities, utilizing expertise in systems engineering best practices and simulation testing and evaluation efforts.
  • Provide expert guidance on systems engineering, V&V concepts, controls systems, vector calculus, and real-time simulations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of real-time simulations and hardware-centric environments, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement test plans and results reports, ensuring clear and concise documentation of project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a Ph.D. in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
  • Background in hardware controls, real-time simulations, or system engineering with a focus on vector calculus concepts and standard laboratory devices.
  • Experience working with real-time simulations and hardware-centric environments, including MATLAB, SIMULINK, C/C++/C#, or Python for test plan development.
  • Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS Word and PowerPoint, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week, with a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US Citizenship.
Desired Skills
  • Substantial experience in hardware in the loop laboratories overseeing integration, V&V, and evolving lab requirements and capabilities.
  • Expertise with real-time simulation environments and active TS/SCI clearance.
