Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical authority for rolling mill operations throughout all stages of projects
  • Create and deploy Automation control systems utilizing state-of-the-art technologies
  • Maintain existing systems and assist clients with technical issues
  • Oversee control system development in accordance with standards and project specifications
  • Perform system testing and simulation prior to client delivery
  • Deliver on-site commissioning and training as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 15 years of engineering experience within the metals sector
  • In-depth knowledge of Hot and Cold Rolling processes
  • Expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Familiarity with automation methodologies and technologies
  • Experience with X-Pact LogiCAD/Probas and/or Siemens TIA Portal is advantageous
  • Proven ability to address design challenges
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
