The Technical Writer role at Aquent is a key contributor to our team's success. We're seeking a skilled professional to create high-quality technical guides based on existing work, working closely with Domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to craft useable guides from the information provided.

This role involves a mix of collaboration, preparation, and technical writing, with a focus on creating instructional guides that are clear, concise, and actionable. You'll work closely with developers to write instruction manuals and collaborate with the cloud team to draft guides for broad internal consumption.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection and documentation of documentation requirements, including use cases, audience, and objectives.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including software manuals, learning modules, troubleshooting guides, installation guides, API documentation, and release notes.
  • Editorial review and co-collaboration with SMEs to produce high-quality technical documentation.
  • Evaluation and monitoring of document readiness for broad consumption and launch.
  • Creation and maintenance of marketing content and communication templates related to program delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with cloud or other tech.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with technical writing and communications.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with manual and instructional writing.

Technology involved: EngHub, SharePoint, ICM, AzureDevOps, Word.
