RADIUS AEROSPACE INC is a leading manufacturer of high-quality aerospace components. We are seeking an experienced Precision Lathe Machinist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Lathes with and without live-tooling, performing program edits and/or programs at the machine control, and making all required adjustments to cutting tool offsets.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist Engineering in planning sequence of operations, determines cutting tools to be used, method of holding, aligning work, & machine speeds & feeds associated with CNC Lathe operations, etc.
  • Set up, run, & maintain CNC Lathes with & without live-tooling & completely & independently perform any operations within its capacity.
  • Works from drawings, specifications, set-up instructions & data to check parts for conformity to specifications.
  • Performs daily machine preventative maintenance (fluid levels, pressures, cleaning)

Requirements:

  • Fanuc control experience preferred.
  • Ability to recognize improper machine functioning or cutting & develop procedures for corrective action.
  • Provide unbiased, proactive feedback to Engineering/Programming for process improvements.
  • Must adhere to & support safe work environment policies.
