Position Summary:
The Guest Experience Ambassador plays a vital role in ensuring a premier dining experience for residents, colleagues, and guests. This position is accountable for delivering exemplary service and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere in all interactions with residents, colleagues, and guests.
- Oversee the service of food and beverages, including the preparation of specialty diets and dishes as needed.
- Engage with residents to accurately take orders for food and beverages, articulating daily menu offerings effectively.
- Provide detailed explanations of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.
- Ensure resident satisfaction with all service aspects, addressing any customer service concerns promptly.
- Monitor dietary preferences and requirements to meet individual needs.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of all scheduled meal services.
- Maintain service areas by stocking supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
- Perform cleaning tasks as assigned, including sweeping, mopping, and tidying service stations.
- May assist culinary staff at various stations as directed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by being attentive, approachable, and courteous.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
The Guest Experience Ambassador operates in a kitchen setting, where exposure to various equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers, is common. Employees may encounter heat, steam, and noise during their shifts.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands for this role include the ability to sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Standing for extended periods is required, along with manual dexterity and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in food service
• Previous customer service experience
