Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers with their auction pick-up process, answering any questions they may have.
- Prepare for auction pick-up by downstacking pallets and organizing items in a manner that is easy for customers to find.
- Offer friendly assistance to customers who need help locating their items.
- Perform customer checkout procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that meets company standards.
- Lot product: photograph, grade, and confirm accurate descriptions of auction items to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed and adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality service.
Requirements:
- Friendly and helpful demeanor with a willingness to engage with customers.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Proven history of strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Technological literacy, with experience using an IOS device (iPad) a plus but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with non-temperature-controlled conditions, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods, squatting, and lifting up to 40lbs.
