Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at SCL Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance scanners to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete exams
  • Receive patients, explain examination procedures, and position patients for imaging
  • Administer IV contrast agents when necessary
  • Independently perform and complete routine examinations
  • Meet patient needs through effective communication, coordination, and documentation
  • Participate in quality initiatives to ensure high patient satisfaction and workflow efficiency
Requirements
  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Current ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages
  • At least one year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital environment (preferred)
