As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, you will join our Business Application Team, playing a crucial role in empowering Guardant's mission to fight cancer through data-driven solutions. We are looking for a proactive individual who will enhance and optimize our Salesforce Platform to better support our teams. This position offers a unique chance to gain practical experience while collaborating with a talented group of professionals and gaining insights into the Salesforce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, product managers, and various stakeholders to collect and document business needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of objectives.
- Business Process Evaluation: Perform thorough analyses of current business processes, identifying improvement opportunities. Create detailed process maps and suggest Salesforce solutions to streamline workflows.
- Requirements Documentation: Transform business needs into detailed technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Solution Development: Work alongside Technical Architects to design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. Provide insights on best practices for Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Project Oversight: Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
- User Assistance: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to users and stakeholders. Facilitate training sessions to promote effective adoption of Salesforce solutions.
- Configuration and Customization: Design and implement custom Salesforce components, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet specific business needs.
- Proof of Concept Development: Lead the creation of Proof of Concept (POC) solutions to showcase the viability and effectiveness of proposed Salesforce features.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage the Go-Live process. Develop testing strategies to confirm that solutions meet business requirements.
- Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides, utilizing visual aids to enhance clarity.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose enhancements to Salesforce functionality that promote efficiency and support business growth.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA, to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise software as an analyst or product owner.
- Salesforce Certification (Administrator, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Business Analyst preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce platform configuration and customization.
- Proficient in Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation.
- Ability to comprehend business strategies and translate them into effective process designs.
- Exceptional written and visual communication skills, capable of documenting requirements clearly.
- Strong presentation skills, able to convey ideas effectively to diverse team members.
- Adept at listening and communicating with individuals in various roles.
