Job Summary

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Part-Time Respiratory Therapy Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Respiratory Therapy courses and contributing to the development of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Respiratory Therapy courses to students at the community college level.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
  • Understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in an indoor, office environment and will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. The ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds is also required.
