We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in an outpatient setting. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing physical therapy services and supporting patients in achieving their treatment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physical therapy services in accordance with the plan of treatment developed by the Physical Therapist and signed by the physician.
- Provide clear direction to patients during visits and communicate goals for the next visit.
- Observe and document the effectiveness of interventions on the physical therapy visit report and report to the Physical Therapist.
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum performance using appropriate physical therapy treatments, modalities, and procedures as stated in the physical therapy plan of care.
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience is helpful, but not required. New graduates are accepted.
- Current license in the State of Maine as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Must have a reliable automobile with a current Maine driver's license.
