Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Care Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer various types of respiratory treatments to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Assess and evaluate respiratory care needs of patients, including those with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Pennsylvania Medical Board.
  • Current CPR certification and NRP credential.
  • Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills, with previous acute care respiratory experience preferred.
