Job Title: Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide exceptional patient care and service. You will oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. You will also be responsible for managing the pharmacy's inventory, staff scheduling, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians to provide exceptional patient care and service
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and legal compliance
  • Manage the pharmacy's inventory, staff scheduling, and customer service
  • Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement business strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Requirements:

  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff
  • At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co
