Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and caring Resident Care Technician to join our team. As a Resident Care Technician, you will provide personal care, companion care, nursing assistance, and other assigned tasks to our residents. Duties and assignments may be adjusted at the discretion of the Resident Care Coordinator/Director based on an evaluation of resident needs.

Your Responsibilities

As a Resident Care Technician, your responsibilities will include
  • Providing companion care as listed on resident's plan of care.
  • Assisting with bathing or showering to ensure thorough cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Assisting residents with dressing while maintaining individual privacy.
  • Assisting with scheduling medical appointments or other vital services.
  • Promoting appropriate levels of independence in resident care and demonstrating awareness of safety for both resident and self.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.


Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have adaptability, strong organization and time management skills. You should also possess excellent resource management, computer, record keeping, interpersonal, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills. A high school diploma is required, and six months of experience in providing personal care in a residential or long-term care setting is preferred.
