Key Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate the care of a team of patients, ensuring their physical, psychological, and sociocultural needs are met.
- Assume leadership roles and demonstrate clinical competency, evidence of nursing leadership, and coordination of nursing care.
- Precept new employees and provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure from the state of Ohio as an RN.
- Successful completion of general and unit-specific orientation and hospital probationary period.
- Obtains/maintains a minimum of 12 contact hours of continuing education annually, including Fire Safety and CPR Recertification.
- Must have theoretical knowledge combined with clinical experience in providing nursing care for a variety of patients.
Moderate level of physical exertion required. Occasional exposure to adverse conditions.
Reporting RelationshipsResponsible to Nurse Manager, or in his/her absence, the Administrative Supervisor. May receive direct instructions from Charge Nurse or Director.
