We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Good Samaritan Society - Maplewood, a top-rated 71-bed facility offering post-acute rehabilitation services, long-term/skilled care, and outpatient therapy programs.
Salary: $28.50 - $44.70 per hour, with a weekly hours of 32 and a total salary range of approximately $1,482.00 - $2,307.20 per week, not including the $10,000 Bonus Eligible
About This OpportunityThis is a full-time NOC / Nights shift Nurse opportunity. The RN will work 32 hours per week from 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m., providing individualized nursing care to residents and collaborating with other inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting
- Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, coordinating care and performing resident assessment, education, and various other nursing interventions
- May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate
- Provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including but not limited to Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
