Responsibilities

  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents">
  • Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs">
  • Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents">
  • Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate">
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed">
  • Gather non-invasive body fluid specimens and collect vital signs">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position">
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required">
  • Minimum age of 16">
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred">
