Job Summary

As an Insulation Installer at Installed Building Products, you will be responsible for installing insulation materials in exterior walls and ceilings. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work safely in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and tracking insulation materials
  • Erecting scaffolding or ladders to access high areas
  • Cutting insulation materials to size and installing them in frames, ceilings, attics, or crawlspaces
  • Installing insulation using various methods, including stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing, or operating equipment
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle and maintain tools and equipment
  • Observing job site safety rules and maintaining knowledge of MSDS packets

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Comfortable using standard hand tools
  • Able to work in tight spaces, including attics and crawlspaces
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
  • Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, and knees
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
