Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the Automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with OEM systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical components, including diagnostics, CANoe, and CAD.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of quality systems and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, including international locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the DRE to initiate, approve, track, and document Engineering Work Orders (ECRs).
  • Participate in all Product Development Team Meetings (PDT).
  • Initiate, track, and document Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
  • Secure necessary approvals (ADVP&R, 5Phase, TALC, AAR).
  • Review schematics and assist in the creation of Drawing/Math Data (ICD).
  • Support warranty analysis and tracking efforts.
  • Provide assistance for A/B Samples and various pilot builds.
  • Conduct component and system testing support.
  • Attend design reviews and relevant meetings as required.
  • Engage in design staff meetings to guide new product developments.
  • Establish connections with local Tier 1 customers to facilitate project needs.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities through client interactions.
