Job Summary

Central Baptist Village is a not-for-profit, faith-based community dedicated to providing exceptional care for older adults. As a leader in the field, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Life Enrichment to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging activity programs for residents in multiple levels of care, working closely with the Life Enrichment team to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Update and maintain activity calendars, utilizing strong administrative and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of activity coordinators, volunteers, and staff, providing training, guidance, and emotional support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to gain market recognition and awareness, securing volunteers from the greater community through public relations efforts.
  • Plan and host resident and community-wide events, involving residents in the process to promote engagement and inclusivity.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • Creativity and organizational abilities to plan, organize, and execute diverse programs tailored to the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, with a strong customer service focus and comfort working with technology.
