Reimbursement Program Manager

As a Reimbursement Analyst II, you will perform highly-advanced consultative services and collection of intergovernmental transfers and administration of payments for supplemental or directed payment programs administered by the Provider Finance Department.
The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision and with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment to ensure the proper operation of specific payment programs. Key duties include planning, review, development and implementation of payment processes, data reconciliation, designing instructions and procedures, conducting complex data analysis, and providing technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining complex spreadsheets using large databases to perform payment analysis, participating in the development of policy guidelines, agency rules, and other associated documents relating to payments, and reviewing policies and procedures for job duties and updating documents as necessary to conform to best practices. Essential Job Functions:
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and human service programs, services, and procedures, as well as accounting, business, and management principles, practices, and procedures. Skill in the review of cost reports and processing of payments, interpersonal relationships, problem solving, and ability to analyze laws, regulations, program policies, and issues are also essential. Requirements:
Ability to exercise independent judgement, set priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting technical and political developments.
