Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Administrator III to join our team at Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI). This role will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to internal customers, as well as collaborating with the Business Technology team to implement and maintain our ERP system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a service or support role, and 3 years of experience supporting a modern ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle, or Acumatica. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve support issues while working with internal customers and the Business Technology team.
  • Manage and communicate expectations appropriately with customers who require assistance.
  • Perform research and analysis related to business system capabilities and lead efforts to improve.
  • Lead efforts to implement automated unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

ERP Implementation Support:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the ERP implementation project.
  • Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any system-related problems.
  • Configure and customize the ERP system to meet business needs.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Contribute to creating a training curriculum for end-users.

Work Complexity:

  • Work collaboratively with internal customers and resolve incidents and requests related to business systems or processes.
  • Act as liaison between the internal customer and the vendor to resolve issues with business systems.
  • Manage business system application security via account management and user setup, vulnerability patching, and collaborating with Operations and Cyber Security to ensure secure infrastructure and data.
  • Perform research and analysis related to business system functionality.
  • Create and enhance processes supporting the Business Technology team.
  • Create reference architecture documents and test plans for business applications.
  • Create and maintain roadmaps for core applications.

Customer Service:

  • Consult with internal customers to determine software or system functionality issues.
  • Play a key role in system upgrades.
  • Perform repairs to software and peripheral equipment following design or installation specifications.
  • Provide ongoing support of business software.

Project Work:

  • Generate requirements and test plans based upon knowledge of the business and technology during project planning phases.
  • Participate in support training before business software projects are launched.
  • Complete assigned work tasks from projects such as testing, issue remediation, post-go-live support.
  • Act as the technical lead for medium to large projects, taking responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed, mentoring junior associates, and coordinating vendor activities to meet project objectives.

Technical Support:

  • Monitor and communicate system status.
  • Assist system engineers, database administrators, and vendors as needed to resolve problems.
  • Create and maintain reports for the business.
  • Configure applications to meet the needs of our stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain integrations (API, batch, database) to enable the timely and accurate flow of data.
  • Create effective documentation through the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Base articles.

Other:

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
