Nova Biomedical is seeking a skilled Chemical Filling Operator I to join our team in our Waltham, MA facility. As a Chemical Filling Operator I, you will be responsible for performing filling, sealing, and labeling of various reagents in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate filling equipment according to procedure and equipment specifications
- Monitor and control filling operations to ensure accurate and complete filling, sealing, and labeling
- Document all pertinent information related to filling operations, including batch records and quality control data
- Maintain a clean and organized filling area, including daily cleaning and periodic maintenance
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth and efficient filling operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Related experience in an automated pouch, bottle, or comparable filling operation desired
- Basic knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR), OSHA safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, turning, and carrying up to 40 pounds
