Job Overview

ThinkTek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to support Personnel Security Adjudications for a Federal Government client. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing background adjudications in the federal sector, with a strong understanding of 5 CFR 731.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Personnel Security Adjudicators and Assistants, overseeing suitability prescreening and developing suitability/fitness recommendations.
  • Perform quality reviews of all work performed by Personnel Security Staff, ensuring adherence to 5 CFR 731.
  • Develop and maintain a team structure and workload to efficiently complete adjudications in a timely manner.
  • Prepare written analysis and propose recommendations to resolve complex issues, identifying high-priority cases for review as required.
  • Consult with Government officials and external agencies to resolve personnel security-related issues, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Mentor and advise Personnel Security Adjudicators and Assistants.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager overseeing Personnel Security Adjudications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing Personnel Security Adjudications for the Federal Government.
  • Active Security Clearance preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 5 CFR 731.
