Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating all first-line management functions, including production planning, production output, equipment maintenance, management of people, quality, safety, and sanitation of the processing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of hourly employees in our processing department.
  • Manage the processing schedule to maximize output while minimizing costs, including active participation in problem-solving to achieve these results.
  • Lead and coach integrated work groups to achieve results based on the factory's continuous improvement plan.
  • Confers with engineering and maintenance in coordination of repairs and modifications to demonstrate ownership of the assigned areas of the factory.
  • Ensure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within 'Good Manufacturing Practices'.
  • Implement and monitor the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program, which involves preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Train and coach the production workers on TPM principles and practices, such as 5S, OEE, and root cause analysis.
  • Provide a safe working environment for employees.
  • Coordinate product changeovers with material handling, processing, packing, and quality assurance.
  • Strive to meet daily production demands.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
  • 1+ years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing, military, or related environment.
  • Must be open to working all 3 shifts, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
