Position Purpose

As a Maintenance Technician Incinerator, you will perform all maintenance functions, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all equipment throughout the plant. This role requires a high level of operational readiness and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.

Key Job Activities
  1. Perform diagnostic evaluations on equipment and make repairs as needed, ensuring that repairs are performed properly and in a timely manner.
  2. Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis on various machinery, including fire tube boilers, steam delivery systems, water softeners, air handling equipment, commercial washers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems.
  3. Perform light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment, including 480V/240V/120V/24V power systems, PLC, and light robotics troubleshooting and maintenance.
  4. Document results through completed work orders based on schedule and priority or as required.
  5. Perform other related duties as required or requested.
Experience

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician Incinerator with a strong background in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Education equivalent to an Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school, or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • Three or more years of related experience and/or training, demonstrating the ability to identify and perform repairs that are needed and to assure scheduled production run.
  • Experience with the use of forklifts, man-lifts, and various rigging equipment in the performance of maintenance activities.
  • Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license is helpful.
  • Experience with general air pneumatics, including air compressor operation and maintenance, regulator replacement, solenoid valve replacement, 2-way and 3-way valve, tubing installation, pneumatic pumps, and general system troubleshooting.
