Essential Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our team, with opportunities available in our Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design teams to produce engineering contract drawings (CADD drawings).
  • Draft and refine engineering contract documents based on engineering mark-ups, sketches, detailed drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Update and modify existing engineering contract drawings as necessary.
  • Utilize CAD software to assess and calculate project construction item quantities.
  • Comprehend and implement client-specific CAD standards and requirements.
  • Organize and manage CAD computer files, understanding the interrelationships between them.
  • Support design teams in utilizing CAD software, including troubleshooting CAD-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Completion of a Drafting/Design/Engineering Technical School Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with MicroStation (experience with New York State Department of Transportation and/or New York State Thruway Authority is preferred); AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.

Compensation: $21.65-$28.85/hour*
