Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Washington, DC area. As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and develop effective communication strategies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations for student support and accommodations.
  • Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality services to students.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting, preferably in a school setting as an SLP.
  • Certification: Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred, and must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
