Job Overview

Suburban Village Collision Center is seeking a skilled Automotive Body / Collision Technician to become a vital part of our dynamic auto body repair facility.

Position Type: Full Time

Compensation: $80,000-120,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly assess and evaluate vehicle damage
  • Execute necessary auto body repairs, including painting and part replacement
  • Identify and procure materials and parts essential for repairs
  • Conduct inspections and test drives of repaired vehicles to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Maintain regular communication with management and staff regarding work performed, required changes, and any concerns related to vehicle repair or maintenance
  • Comply with all safety regulations and local and federal standards while utilizing tools and equipment
  • Report any accidents or incidents to management promptly to uphold best practices in the auto body shop

Required Qualifications

  • Proven ability to complete repairs from start to finish
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in collision repair techniques
  • Proficient in operating industry-standard collision repair tools and equipment, including frame straightening and welding tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Physical capability to bend, lift, and perform tasks associated with this role
