Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school, special events, and field trips in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school bus over designated routes in accordance with specified time schedules and regulations.
  • Pick up and discharge students at established bus stops, under varying weather conditions.
  • Maintain the bus in a safe operating condition through daily vehicle inspections and driver maintenance.
  • Report incidents affecting student safety and maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Ensure order and discipline among students on the bus, following District policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid Kentucky Commercial Class B drivers license, including passenger endorsement.
  • School Bus Certification by State Transportation Department.
  • 5 years' experience in the operation of a motor vehicle.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
