Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist, Property Claims to join our team at Travelers Indemnity Co. This role will be responsible for handling first-party property claims of high severity and complexity, ensuring optimal claim resolution for personal or business claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, evaluate, and estimate damages to determine coverage and liability.
  • Negotiate with insureds, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve claims.
  • Manage claim files, including documentation, communication, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Underwriting and Litigation, to ensure seamless claim handling.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as insurance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in property claims handling, preferably with a strong background in estimating and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, as needed.
