Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving: Unload incoming shipments, verify documents for accuracy, and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Order Fulfillment: Utilize appropriate documentation to locate, pull, and stage materials for shipment.
  • Shipping: Package materials according to requested shipping methods and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Will Call: Assist will-call and walk-in customers as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, promptly notifying management of any issues.
  • Operate saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.
  • Utilize forklifts for various warehouse tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in standard office and warehouse equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
  • Understanding of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position require regular standing, walking, reaching, and using hands or fingers to handle objects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment: Employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and elevated noise levels, necessitating hearing protection.
