This position is a critical role within the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, requiring a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a Police Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting life and property, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain order and protect life and property
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
- Provide emergency response and assistance to individuals in need
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to ensure public safety
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and polygraph examination
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies
