About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Hospice of North Carolina. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and support to individuals in need of end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients, following a carefully crafted plan of care to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
  • Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Provide support for families, sharing knowledge and expertise to guide and support them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to agency and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice experience a plus.
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated.
