Job Summary:

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead our team at Fischer-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, OH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing the Clinical and Patient Services Programs, ensuring high-quality healthcare and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the clinical nutrition program, providing supervision, training, and development for a small team of Registered Dietitians and patient services staff members.
  • Advocate for the expansion and promotion of the role of Clinical Nutrition, driving Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
  • Develop and implement Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system, fostering a culture of learning and career growth.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the success of the department.
  • Represent the department on hospital-wide committees, serving as the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field, with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and registration within 120 days of hire.
  • State certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • At least 13 months of experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
  • 3 years of experience as an experienced practitioner, able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners.
