Job Summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist III Site Lead to join our team. As a Phlebotomist III Site Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of phlebotomists and ensuring the smooth operation of our Patient Service Center. You will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for training and supervising new phlebotomists, as well as ensuring that all phlebotomy procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing
  • Train and supervise new phlebotomists
  • Ensure that all phlebotomy procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of patient samples and test results
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification required
  • Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
Working Conditions

The Phlebotomist III Site Lead will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to stand for long periods of time. The Phlebotomist III Site Lead will also be required to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies. The Phlebotomist III Site Lead will work in a well-lit and climate-controlled environment.
