Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dosimetrist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a Senior Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in the delivery of radiation therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Assist and advise during patient simulation and treatment processes.
  • View imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET) to determine patient positioning and lesion size.
  • Identify critical organs surrounding lesions and determine radiation exposure.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in 2D, 3D, IMRT, and Dynamic Arc treatment planning.
  • Work with Electronic Medical Records and image fusion and deformable registration.
  • Perform quality assurance for treatment planning systems.
Requirements
  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist upon hire required.
